I know a fair number of people who think that 1. bottled water is basically a scam (I pretty much agree), and 2. filtering tap water is kind of silly (although nothing like bottled water)
If you are in Category 2, of feeling that it's kinda silly to filter your perfectly safe tap water, I have a question: to you, does filtered and unfiltered tap water taste the same? If so, where do you live?
I mean, sure, if you live in New York City, home of the best tasting tap water in the United States, or Rome, home of some of the best tasting tap water in the world, or Wayland, MA, where my parents live, which, for some reason, has their own wells just for that town, and the tap water is almost as good as NYC or Rome. . . sure, in THOSE places, I'd agree that filtering tap water is maybe silly.
What about other places? Is filtered and unfiltered water basically the same where you live?
