[Description of image: two pictures, side-by-side. One is an Eastern/Russian Orthodox icon image of Saint Nicholas, in his traditional iconography, in which he has a high forehead with wrinkles, and fairly dark skin, but in this particular one, the wrinkles, dark skin, and high forehead are particularly pronounced. The other is a picture of Worf from Star Trek. They look disturbingly similar. Text: "I think Saint Nicholas was a Klingon..."]

That is remarkable.

But the clash between St. Nicholas's, or Santa's, traditional behavior and Klingon culture is so massively overwhelming, I have serious doubts about the proposal.

Why? Santa comes into the houses of all little boys and girls, challenges them to single combat, and makes a list, deciding who's valiant and not. Then gives weapons to all the good little warriors, and puts the cowardly ones in the coal mines. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.
